IMPORTANT - NEWS 18.7.2010

Dear Participant,

Here is more information about sending your entry to us. We have made a few adjustments as a result of the
success of the competition and the number of participants.

You will be able to send your entry to our FTP server in October 2010.
You username and password will be sent to you in September.
One GB of disk space is reserved for each participant.
You can compress your file by saving it in JPEG format (Photoshop quality 10 or 12).
Your images should be 3508 x 4961 pixels in size.
Large-sized entries (such as animations) must be sent by post on CD-ROM or DVD by 29 October 2010 to the
following address:

Each entry must be accompanied by a text in English, maximum length 4000 characters (including spaces),
along with: the participant's, date of birth, university, first name, last name, address, and telephone number.

Purpose:

The purpose of Imaginary-Landscapes Worldwide Interdisciplinary Art Competition is to make a selection of the three best art-pieces, as well as

a selection of the  creations which are going to be exhibited in various countries and presented in catalogues. Prize-giving and first Exhibition i

n Switzerland will take place in House of Elsewhere, “Espace Jules Vernes", Yverdon les Bains, Switzerland, in 2011.

 

“Imaginary-Landscapes” is a Worldwide Interdisciplinary Art Competition initiated by

Any other university of art can apply for registration and will be welcomed to participate to the contest upon prior selection from the committee.

 

The selected art-pieces must be motivated by:

Evidence: Motivation; Problem-solving; Coordination and Organisation; Final presentation of the artwork
Aesthetic skills and Imaginative concepts: Starting idea; Elaboration of chosen concept
Artistic skills: Creativity; Technical and Compositional skills; Stylistic and poetic motivation; Expressivity.
